Lance J. Bitterman joined Fredson & Statmore, LLC in 2014 following a Superior Court Clerkship with the Honorable Yolanda Ciccone, Assignment Judge of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph’s University in 2010. He attended law school at Nova Southeastern University and distinguished himself a as Dean’s Law Scholarship recipient. He graduated cum laude in May 2013.
During his clerkship, Lance was responsible for drafting the Court’s opinions, conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and recommending dispositions on proceedings. He served as a mediator in the Special Civil Part and assisted with Law Division settlement conferences and negotiations.
During law school, Lance clerked at the Law Firm of Seiden, Alder, McLeod & Goodman. He conducted legal research and drafted trial level personal injury briefs on behalf of injured clients. He was a research assistant to Professor Florence Shu-Acquaye where he edited and drafted portions of published articles authored by the Professor.
Since joining Fredson & Statmore, LLC as an associate, Lance has litigated all aspects of personal injury claims including automobile accidents, fall downs, product liability claims, and construction site accidents. He has significant courtroom experience litigating arbitration claims, conducting deposition examinations and protecting the rights of the injured.
